Miranda Gallo, DVM, MS
Dr. Gallo is originally from Cornwall, Connecticut; though her family has since moved to first Portland, Maine, and then Helsinki, Finland. She graduated from Bates College in 2009 with majors in Neuroscience and Russian Studies. She then attended veterinary school at the Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. After a year practicing in New York City; Dr. Gallo returned to Tufts for both a rotating internship and a three-year residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Dr. Gallo’s clinical interests include refractory seizure management, optimizing recovery following disc herniation and spinal surgery, as well as vascular events leading to stroke.
Outside of work, Dr. Gallo spends her time running and exploring NYC parks, trying to do justice to her Italian family recipes, as well as enjoying the company of her husband, and perfect greyhounds, Indiana Bones, and Juniper.
