Justin Carlson, VMD
Dr. Carlson’s advanced training in cardiology includes interventional cardiology and treatment of end-stage, refractory congestive heart failure. After graduation Dr. Carlson completed a rotating internship and cardiology internship in Manhattan. Dr. Carlson then completed his cardiology residency at Texas A&M University with a strong background and high clinical caseload of interventional cardiac procedures.
Dr. Carlson’s advanced training in cardiology includes interventional cardiology and treatment of end-stage, refractory congestive heart failure. Dr. Carlson is board certified in cardiology as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the specialty of Cardiology.
Professional interests include the treatment of refractory congestive heart failure, and interventional cardiology. He believes that much can be done to manage the cardiology patient at home, and at the primary veterinarian practice, and is happy to consult on and co-manage these patients.
Dr. Carlson is a fitness enthusiast and in his spare time remains very active. He enjoys running with his two dogs (a Viszla and a Rhodesian Ridgeback), rock climbing, and weight lifting.
