Animal Poison Prevention Week

Throughout the month of March, the A.S.P.C.A. observes Pet Poison Prevention Awareness Month, with the week of March 20th to 26th designated as National Animal Poison Prevention Week.

As spring blooms, so does the risk for accidental poisoning too. It’s important for pet owners to be aware of what constitutes ‘poison’ for pets, how to protect them, and how to spread awareness to their local community.

VERG’s dedicated veterinarians have compiled five household items that can accidentally poison your pets.
