Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy is used to visualize and obtain samples of the descending and transverse colon.
This procedure is performed under general anesthesia and allows for the accurate diagnosis of strictures, polyps, colonic ulceration, inflammatory bowel disease, and colo-rectal cancer. This technique grants the opportunity for non-invasive biopsy or removal of suspicious lesions.
